I enjoyed Michael Goodwin's Economix book throughout, but as we got closer and closer to TODAY, I found it more and more compelling. I was really glad to get the back story on events I remember clearly, and came away feeling a little like the victim of a grand conspiracy -- it's the Fed, the Government, and the large corporations against all of us!
I thought Goodwin came off as pretty clearly liberal in his bias once he started talking about Reagan; but then Clinton didn't fare much better. It was good to understand WHY things happen, and frustrating to understand what a role greed plays.
I'd love to know what all of you thought about Goodwin's portrayal of the economic collapse of 2008 ... ?
